Required Skills and Experience:
- Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathology credentials (active and in good standing)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- School-based experience, especially within pediatric and preK populations
- Strong understanding of speech and language assessments, interventions, and documentation
- Effective collaboration and communication skills with teachers, parents, and administrators
- Previous experience in early intervention settings preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to preK-age students
- Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conduct screenings and comprehensive evaluations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop tailored interventions
- Engage with families to support carryover of strategies
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports, complying with district and legal requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and ongoing professional development
