Qualifications and Experience:
- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA certification preferred or eligibility for certification
- Experience with early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school populations
- Pediatric caseload experience in educational settings
- Ability to design and implement IEPs for diverse age groups
- Strong communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration
- Compassionate, flexible approach to meet students at all developmental levels
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments for students from pre-K through grade 12
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services in classroom and small group settings
- Participate in IEP meetings, document progress, and provide recommendations to parents and staff
- Collaborate with teachers and other specialists on intervention strategies
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and legal requirements
