On-site Speech-Language Pathologists (CCC required) are needed for contract positions serving single schools—each with their own unique caseload and collaborative team.
Assignment Details:
- 35 hours per week (full-time schedule)
- Assignments available beginning as soon as September and October
- Single-school placements to focus your expertise
- Palm Pointe K-8: K-8 age group, multiple ASD units, working alongside another SLP; assignment runs October 5th to December 18th (maternity leave coverage)
- Ft. Pierce Central High: High school caseload, support from onsite SLPA two days a week; coverage needed from September to October 20th (maternity leave)
What You’ll Need:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Active Florida SLP licensure
- School-based SLP experience (preferred)
- Ability to obtain district-mandated fingerprinting; candidates previously cleared by AHCA Clearinghouse may expedite the process
- Comfort working with diverse client needs, including ASD
Your Role:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy for assigned students
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support IEPs
- Document and report on student progress
- Attend multidisciplinary meetings as needed
- Partner with on-site SLP/SLPA for best student outcomes
