Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Valid SLP license for Florida or eligibility to obtain one
- Previous experience working with pediatric populations, especially in schools, preferred
- Strong expertise serving early childhood and elementary-aged students
- Experience with a range of student needs, including moderate, severe, and profound disabilities
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to K–12 students, adapting to individual needs
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized plans of care
- Maintain accurate records, IEP documentation, and progress reports
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff
- Engage in IEP meetings and help shape student support plans
- Promote inclusive, supportive learning environments
