Speech Language Pathologist in Valparaiso, IN

Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state licensure as an SLP, or eligibility to obtain prior to start date
- Previous experience working with school-aged children (K-12) preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- A commitment to helping students reach their fullest potential
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication screenings and evaluations for students
- Provide direct therapy, both individually and in small groups, as outlined in IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster positive learning outcomes
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of student progress in compliance with district and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert insights to support student needs
- Offer guidance and training to school staff on communication strategies and challenges
