Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP state license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience or clinical practicum with K-12th grade student populations preferred
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with students, staff, and caregivers
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to K-12 students, both in individual and group settings
- Conduct evaluations and create targeted treatment plans tailored to diverse student needs
- Collaborate with teachers and multidisciplinary teams to support each student’s overall learning goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and document progress with clarity and consistency
- Offer guidance, strategies, and support to families and educators
- Adapt techniques and materials to address a range of communication disorders and learning styles
