Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure (or ability to obtain) as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Indiana
- Previous experience working with children or adolescents in educational or clinical settings is preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively evaluate, plan, and implement therapy for a diverse K-12 caseload
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation requirements
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for K-12 students
- Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with teachers and parents
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development
- Maintain accurate records of assessments, progress notes, and correspondence
- Provide direct therapy sessions, both individually and in small groups
- Consult with educational staff to tailor classroom strategies that support communication development
- Offer guidance, resources, and support to families
