Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current SLP license required for the state of Indiana (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience with school-aged children, ideally across K-12
- Familiarity with developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong organizational, collaboration, and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students in individual and group settings
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Create and update IEPs, collaborating closely with educators, families, and support staff
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and required reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights to benefit student achievement
- Employ a variety of evidence-based intervention techniques to meet diverse needs
