Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred
- Experience with K-12 populations in educational settings
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs
- Familiarity with IEP development and progress documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students across grade levels, adapting strategies for individual and group needs
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine student eligibility for services
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with each student’s educational goals
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, collaborating with educators, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and adhere to all state and district documentation guidelines
- Offer consultation and support to teachers and staff regarding speech and language interventions
