Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Tumacacori, AZ

Ideal candidates will possess strong clinical skills and a dedication to pediatric speech therapy. You'll be managing a caseload of 25 students with Speech or Language Impairments (SLI) and providing direct services to an additional 35 students, supporting a total of 60 eager learners. This position also offers the valuable experience of working with a diverse range of student needs in an engaging academic setting.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CFY)
- Experience in pediatric and school settings preferred
- Understanding of IEP process and documentation
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
- Provide case management and therapy for a caseload of SLI students
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to additional students as required
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
