Key Qualifications:
- Active AZ SLP License
- Current AZ Educator Certification
- IVP Fingerprint Card (must have at time of hire)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Familiarity with school-based caseloads
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, parents, and staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy and intervention to students across PreK-8th grades
- Assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders within the school environment
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs), set goals, and measure progress
- Maintain accurate, compliant documentation and progress reports
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and participate in IEP meetings
- Offer support and resources to teachers and families for generalization of communication strategies
- Support students with a range of speech, voice, and language needs
You’ll gain rich experience supporting a diverse student population in a collaborative, supportive school community. This contract runs from August 2026 through May 2027 for a total of 40 hours each week, with caseload details to be confirmed before the assignment begins.
