Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Active Connecticut SLP license
- Proven school-based SLP experience (required)
- Elementary caseload experience preferred
- Ability and willingness to split time between two sites, as needed
- SLPAs are not being considered for this position
- Successful district fingerprinting and background check prior to start
- Upfront licenses highly valuable
- Availability for Zoom interview
Responsibilities
- Provide therapeutic speech and language interventions to elementary-aged students
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families for student success
- Conduct assessments, implement IEP plans, and monitor student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Flexibly travel between assigned school sites as needed
