Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Arizona SLP license in good standing
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- IVP Fingerprint clearance card
- Experience or interest in working within school settings and with students from a variety of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students to identify speech, language, and communication strengths and needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to target specific speech or language goals
- Provide therapy services one-on-one or in small group settings
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to support each student’s progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, sessions, and student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
