Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Current SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Demonstrated experience in school-based and pediatric settings
- Proven ability to supervise SLP Assistants (SLPAs)
- Hands-on practice with Medicaid billing procedures
- Familiarity with IEP processes, assessments, and speech therapy best practices
- Effective communication with students, families, and educational teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group speech-language therapy for students with diverse needs
- Complete assessments, evaluations, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Accurately document sessions, progress, and Medicaid billing requirements
- Oversee and mentor SLP Assistants, ensuring quality service delivery
- Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, and families to support student goals
- Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and district regulations
