Key Qualifications:
- Active New York State Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License and TSSLD certification required.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working with elementary-aged students in a school setting is highly valued.
- Strong communication skills and an enthusiastic, collaborative approach.
Role Responsibilities:
- Independently assess and provide therapy for students with varying speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement IEP goals, adapting them according to student progress and needs.
- Maintain clear and timely communication with classroom teachers, support staff, and families.
- Keep detailed documentation on student progress and therapy sessions, ensuring compliance with NY state and school policies.
