Essential Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active SLP license in New York (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Pediatric experience, particularly with K–12 and early childhood populations
- Familiarity with developing and implementing IEP goals
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to students individually and in groups
- Develop and execute individualized treatment plans for a range of speech, language, communication, and feeding disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student growth and learning
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and participate in IEP meetings
- Educate and consult with parents and caregivers about strategies to reinforce therapy goals at home
