Pediatric Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Dover Plains, New York

This contract position spans the full 2026–2027 academic year, focusing on supporting students’ communication and language development. Based near Dover Plains, NY, this role welcomes both local and travel professionals passionate about pediatric and early childhood care.
You’ll have the flexibility to tailor your caseload to your expertise and interests, serving students with needs ranging from moderate to profound. As an integral member of a collaborative team, you will partner with educators, families, and other specialists to help students achieve meaningful progress.
Qualifications:
- Active state Speech-Language Pathologist license (or eligibility for licensure)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Master’s degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
- Prior experience in pediatric, early childhood, or school-based settings strongly preferred
- Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a diverse student caseload
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with language, voice, fluency, and articulation disorders
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to design and implement effective intervention plans
- Maintain accurate student records and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Communicate student progress and needs with families and educational teams
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting and progress monitoring
