You’ll be working Monday through Friday, 7:30AM to 4PM, helping children reach their full potential.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current California SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- Candidates holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or those in their Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CF) are encouraged to apply
- School-based SLP experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 50-60 students, possibly across multiple school sites
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication skills using formal and informal assessment tools
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students, adapting delivery for diverse needs and ages
- Document student progress and maintain compliance with federal, state, and district regulations
- Consult with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support generalization of therapy goals across environments
- Participate in IEP meetings, student support teams, and professional development
