This full-time contract position runs from August 3, 2026, through May 28, 2027, with the school year starting on August 6th. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, serving a caseload of approximately 50-60 students.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CF) candidates are both encouraged to apply
- Experience or strong interest in working in school-based settings
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse student populations, families, and educational staff
- Organizational skills to manage caseload, documentation, and schedules efficiently
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families in support of student goals
- Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and compliance documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
- Provide therapy in individual and small group settings, adapting strategies to student needs
