You'll work a consistent Monday-Friday schedule, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, supporting a caseload of approximately 50-60 students across school sites to be determined in the Pleasanton, CA, area.
Ideal candidates bring expertise as an SLP-CCC or are ready to advance their career as an SLP-CF. Your knowledge and dedication will help foster student growth, communication, and confidence throughout the school year.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (CFY candidates welcome)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but CFYs are encouraged to apply
- Experience with school-aged children, including assessment and intervention planning for a diverse student population
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with teachers, staff, families, and caregivers
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans tailored to student needs
- Deliver direct therapy services and track progress
- Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic student support
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation
- Provide guidance and support to families and colleagues on speech-language challenges
