Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current and valid California SLP License (required)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience working in a school setting preferred
  • Ability to manage and effectively serve a diverse K-12 caseload
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders in students across grade levels
  • Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and participate in IEP meetings
  • Maintain accurate assessment, treatment, and progress records in accordance with school guidelines
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress and generalize skills across settings
  • Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions as appropriate
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and remain current with best practices in the field
