Qualifications and Experience:
- Current and valid California SLP License (required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working in a school setting preferred
- Ability to manage and effectively serve a diverse K-12 caseload
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders in students across grade levels
- Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and participate in IEP meetings
- Maintain accurate assessment, treatment, and progress records in accordance with school guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress and generalize skills across settings
- Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions as appropriate
- Engage in ongoing professional development and remain current with best practices in the field
