School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | La Quinta, California

Make a meaningful impact as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist working with K-12 students in a supportive school environment. You'll collaborate alongside educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to empower students' communication and learning skills. This is a full-time contract role providing consistent hours throughout the academic year.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid California SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience with school-aged children (K-12) highly preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to delivering evidence-based, student-centered therapy
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with various speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and measurable goals
- Deliver direct and consultative SLP services in accordance with IEPs
- Track and document student progress, maintaining accurate records
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student development
- Participate in IEP meetings for students on caseload
- Provide education and resources to staff and caregivers as needed
