Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Thermal, CA

Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current and valid CA SLP License
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Previous experience working in school settings, preferably with K-12 students
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students referred for speech and language services, conducting comprehensive assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with each student’s educational goals
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy to students across K-12 grade levels
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families to support student progress
- Maintain thorough, confidential documentation and progress notes as required by school and district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to plan and goal development
- Provide guidance and resources to staff and families to enhance student communication and learning
