Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active California Speech-Language Pathology License
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- California Speech-Language Pathology Services Credential, or eligibility to obtain
- Ability to clear fingerprinting and onboarding requirements
- Solid communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
- Previous school-based experience preferred, but new graduates considered
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy per IEP goals
- Conduct and document comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Develop, monitor, and update IEP objectives; share findings at meetings
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary team members and families
- Maintain up-to-date service logs, progress notes, and necessary reports
- Support and consult on a variety of student needs using evidence-based practices
