Qualifications & Credentials:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active California License in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- California Speech-Language Pathology Services Credential (or eligibility to obtain)
- Fingerprint clearance and successful completion of all district-required onboarding
- Strong skills in communication, collaboration, and documentation
- Ability to effectively manage a school caseload and work in multidisciplinary teams
- Previous school-based experience preferred but not required
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services in accordance with IEP goals/service minutes for K-12 students
- Conduct speech/language/voice/fluency/pragmatic assessments
- Complete thorough evaluations, comprehensive written reports, and progress monitoring
- Lead the development and presentation of IEP goals
- Maintain accurate service logs and reports for compliance and Medicaid billing
- Consult with staff and families to optimize student learning and communication success
- Actively participate in team meetings and integrate augmentative communication systems where needed
