Essential Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active California Speech-Language Pathology License
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- California Speech-Language Pathology Services Credential (or eligibility to obtain)
- Successful fingerprint clearance and completion of all district-required onboarding
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to independently manage a caseload and work alongside multidisciplinary teams
- Previous experience in a school setting is welcome, but not required
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy according to IEP goals and service minutes
- Conduct thorough speech, language, voice, and fluency assessments
- Complete comprehensive evaluations, written reports, and IEP documentation
- Develop, monitor, and adjust IEP goals; present in meetings
- Collaborate with educators, related service providers, and families
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and adhere to Medicaid billing protocols (when applicable)
- Consult with school staff to support classroom accommodations and communication strategies
- Support students with diverse needs across eligibility categories, utilizing AAC systems as needed
- Engage as an active participant in multidisciplinary meetings and planning
This contract role provides a competitive pay range of $60–$75 per hour, weekly pay, comprehensive insurance coverage (medical, dental, vision, life), a matching 401k, and a flexible spending account.
