Preferred qualifications and experience:
- Valid California Speech Language Pathologist license (CA SLP License)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) strongly preferred
- Previous experience in a K-12 school environment highly desirable
- Passion for fostering growth and learning in diverse student populations
- Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students K-12
- Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) to address students’ unique needs
- Delivering targeted speech and language therapy, both individually and in small group settings
- Collaborating closely with teachers, staff, and families to support inclusion and student success
- Maintaining accurate records and case management documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to student progress reviews
