Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current or pending state licensure as an SLP, CCC or CFY accepted
- Prior experience in a school setting (elementary and/or high school) is highly valued
- Strong skills in speech, language, communication, and cognitive-communication disorders
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with educators, families, and other support professionals
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy to students with diverse needs
- Conduct thorough assessments and reassessments as required for IEP development
- Develop and implement effective, individualized treatment plans aligned with student goals
- Monitor progress, collect data, and maintain detailed documentation according to school and district standards
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, contributing expertise and collaborating on student plans
- Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families to support student development and educational outcomes
- For maternity leave coverage: Ensure continuity of care and seamless handoff for students during December–April at the high school setting
