This is a full-time, contract opportunity, suitable for Speech-Language Pathologists with CCC, SLPs working on their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), and clinicians who have a passion for school-based practice.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure to practice as an SLP
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility/intent to pursue CFY
- Previous experience in a school setting is strongly preferred
- Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work full-time for the entire school year
Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ speech, language, and communication abilities using formal and informal assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and IEP goals
- Provide direct and indirect services to students with diverse communication disorders
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive student support
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based planning for student success
