School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Carrollton, Georgia

Seeking skilled speech-language pathologists for contract opportunities supporting students’ communication needs. These positions involve serving as a full-time SLP in an elementary school environment as well as covering maternity leave at the high school level, both located in the Villa Rica, GA area. The high school coverage is anticipated from December through April. This is a fantastic chance to make a significant impact within local schools.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Current or eligible for Georgia licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or SLP-Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Experience in school settings preferred, including elementary and/or high school populations
- Strong collaboration skills with teachers, staff, and families
- Ability to evaluate, diagnose, and treat a variety of speech and language disorders
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop, and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Work directly with students to provide therapy, monitor progress, and adjust plans as needed
- Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to support student success
- Provide both direct services and consultation across various settings in the school
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with school and district policies
- Participate in meetings, training, and professional development opportunities
