As a Speech-Language Pathologist working exclusively on-site (no virtual assignments), you'll make a meaningful difference in students’ lives by delivering direct interventions and supporting a dynamic, growing caseload.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP license or eligibility in Alabama
- Prior experience with school-based speech therapy highly desired
- Skilled in managing and developing IEPs, as well as collaborating with educators and families
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Dedicated to working on campus and engaging in face-to-face interactions
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language services to students in accordance with their IEP goals
- Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations, document progress, and prepare reports
- Participate in and facilitate IEP meetings with staff and families
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and school teams for integrated student support
- Maintain up-to-date records and adhere to federal and state special education regulations
- Support a caseload currently at 30-35 students, with potential growth up to 70 students next school year
