7th Grade 4th Grade Speech-Language Pathologist in Russellville, AL

Multiple contract positions are available for dedicated Speech Language Pathologists: provide compensatory services across multiple sites or work at a single school serving elementary or middle school students.
Contract roles include summer and school-year opportunities, with a chance to renew for the following academic year. You’ll collaborate with passionate educators and build strong partnerships with families to foster student growth.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and current licensure/certification
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for engagement with families, staff, and administrators via email, phone, and school systems
- Proficiency in using Google Calendar to coordinate therapy schedules, IEP meetings, and conferences
- Skilled with documentation platforms (Paddynet preferred), particularly for service logs, progress reports, evaluations, eligibilities, IEPs, and data reviews
- Flexible and organized—able to travel between schools or adapt to a manageable caseload, as assigned
Role Highlights:
- Deliver onsite speech and language therapy to students ranging from Pre K through 12th grade (assignments available from elementary through middle school)
- For compensatory services, travel between multiple sites and address outstanding service needs, with required summer services through June
- Elementary and middle school options: maintain a caseload of 45–55 students at a single school, focusing on thorough, efficient service and documentation
- Foster collaborative, supportive relationships with teachers, administrators, and families
