This contract role offers two dynamic opportunities: one provides compensatory SLP services across multiple school sites and requires travel, while the other is focused within a single elementary or middle school. Summer services are requested for the compensatory services role, from June 1 through June 30. Both roles offer manageable caseloads and the potential for contract renewal.
Key Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Hold a valid Speech Language Pathology license
- Experience supporting Pre K through 12th grade students (roles vary by location and grade span)
- Proficient in documenting therapy using the Paddynet platform
- Excellent skills communicating with parents, teachers, staff, and administration through phone, email, and progress reports
- Ability to coordinate and manage schedules, including IEP meetings, using Google Calendar
- Experience completing and documenting evaluations, eligibility assessments, IEPs, and data reviews
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver onsite speech and language therapy tailored to assigned caseloads (up to 55 students)
- Facilitate communication and updates between school teams and families
- Conduct thorough assessments, eligibility documentation, and ongoing student progress reporting
- Manage scheduling for therapy sessions, parent conferences, and meetings
- For the compensatory services role: travel between multiple school sites and provide summer services until program completion
