Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Eligibility for Alabama state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- School-based SLP experience preferred, but strong new graduates are welcome to apply
- Comfortable delivering teletherapy as well as on-site speech-language services
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students, both in-person and via teletherapy platforms
- Work collaboratively with teachers, families, and support staff to ensure student progress
- Document treatment plans, progress notes, and maintain compliance with school and state policies
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide guidance on communication goals and strategies
- Foster an inclusive and supportive environment tailored to each student’s needs
