Multiple contract positions are open, ranging from traveling between school sites for compensatory services to serving students at single elementary or middle school locations. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active license as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Experience working with Pre K-12 populations, with preference for Pre K–8th grade
- Knowledge and use of the Paddynet platform for service documentation, or willingness to learn
- Familiarity with school-based procedures for evaluations, eligibilities, IEP development, and data reviews
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with proficiency in Google Calendar for scheduling meetings and coordinating with staff and families
- Ability to build effective relationships with parents, teachers, and administration through a variety of communication tools
- Willingness to travel between school sites for compensatory service positions
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language services onsite to assigned student caseloads, ranging from 45 to 55 students
- Provide therapy, conduct evaluations, and maintain detailed records for eligibility and IEP compliance
- Document all services, progress notes, and IEPs using Paddynet
- Coordinate therapy schedules, parent conferences, and IEP meetings
- Communicate student progress with families and educational staff, maintaining a collaborative approach
- For certain roles, fulfill summer service requirements in June
- Work towards completion of compensatory service lists, where applicable
- Be open to renewing contracts for the upcoming school year
