This role is full-time, 40 hours per week, for the upcoming school year. All services are delivered on-site—no virtual work—so you can build meaningful relationships and make a direct impact. You'll manage a diverse caseload of students requiring IEP services, holding meetings with both staff and families. Start the year supporting a caseload of 30-35 students, with potential growth up to 70 as the year progresses. This expanding need offers you unique, hands-on professional growth and the satisfaction of being an integral part of a school’s evolution.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders (or equivalent)
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Alabama
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate and build rapport with students, staff, and families
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students with IEPs
- Conduct and participate in IEP meetings with staff and parents
- Accurately document student progress
- Develop treatment plans and collaborate with educational teams
