Key Qualifications:

  • Hold and maintain an active Washington SLP license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
  • Completion of fingerprinting through OSPI is mandatory
  • Prior experience delivering SLP services in school settings, preferably at the elementary level
  • Strong ability to manage caseload paperwork, collaborate with fellow educators, and engage with families
  • Comfort and skill working both onsite and via telepractice (VOCO)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech/language screenings and comprehensive assessments as required
  • Develop and implement effective, individualized intervention plans for each student
  • Document progress and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary student support teams
  • Serve as a communication partner for teachers, parents, and support staff within the resource room
  • Deliver services in person at Midland Elementary or via approved remote platform

This position features a consistent schedule of 32.5 hours each week and is approved through June 23, 2027, providing long-term career continuity. You’ll have the flexibility to choose onsite or virtual service delivery to best fit your strengths.
