School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Tacoma, Washington

Key Qualifications:
- Hold and maintain an active Washington SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Completion of fingerprinting through OSPI is mandatory
- Prior experience delivering SLP services in school settings, preferably at the elementary level
- Strong ability to manage caseload paperwork, collaborate with fellow educators, and engage with families
- Comfort and skill working both onsite and via telepractice (VOCO)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech/language screenings and comprehensive assessments as required
- Develop and implement effective, individualized intervention plans for each student
- Document progress and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary student support teams
- Serve as a communication partner for teachers, parents, and support staff within the resource room
- Deliver services in person at Midland Elementary or via approved remote platform
This position features a consistent schedule of 32.5 hours each week and is approved through June 23, 2027, providing long-term career continuity. You’ll have the flexibility to choose onsite or virtual service delivery to best fit your strengths.
