Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current WA SLP License is required
- SLP-CCC certification is highly preferred
- Experience or strong interest in working within a school setting
- Fingerprinting through the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) mandatory
- Ability to support a moderately sized caseload and collaborate with resource room staff
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary-aged students
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress
- Deliver therapy services onsite or through virtual teletherapy (VOCO), as needed
- Engage proactively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and adhere to district, state, and federal guidelines
