Speech Language Pathologist in Tacoma, WA

Key Qualifications:
- Current WA SLP license with ESA certification
- Open to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates as well as experienced SLP-CCCs
- Fingerprints cleared through OSPI within the last two years
- Demonstrated skill in evaluating a range of communication disorders, including language, articulation, fluency, and voice
- Enthusiasm for providing direct and consultative services in a school setting
Role Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students for communication difficulties using standardized and appropriate assessments
- Document evaluation findings, clearly communicating the educational impact of disorders
- Develop individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver therapy targeting receptive/expressive language, articulation, fluency, voice, and more
- Prepare and implement treatment plans and monitor student progress
- Provide recommendations for interventions and consult with teachers and families as needed
