Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Current or eligible licensure in Virginia
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Compassion, patience, and commitment to student growth
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings and comprehensive evaluations
- Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with student IEPs
- Deliver therapy sessions to students individually or in small groups
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support academic progress
- Maintain thorough documentation for progress monitoring and compliance
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert input and recommendations
- Stay informed on best practices and new developments in speech therapy
