An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students’ lives while working onsite near Tacoma, WA. With the support of a collaborative school environment and strong administrative leadership, you’ll help students maximize their communication skills and achieve their educational goals.

Your commitment will span from August 31st, 2026, to June 15th, 2027, working 35-37.5 hours over five days each week. You'll focus exclusively onsite, joining a dedicated multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Washington SLP licensure (or eligibility for licensure)
  • Experience with IEP development and IDEA compliance in a school setting
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and staff
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to the dynamic needs of a school environment
  • Previous school-based SLP experience is highly valued

Primary Duties:

  • Assess students’ speech, language, and communication skills using standardized tools
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students with varying needs
  • Document progress, keep accurate records, and follow school protocols
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and support teams to ensure student success
  • Attend meetings, provide consultative support, and participate in school initiatives
