School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Lakewood, Washington

You’ll work onsite across a full-time schedule of 35-37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, collaborating with a dedicated school community.
What You’ll Bring:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for SLP practice in Washington
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, though strong CFY candidates may be considered
- Previous experience working in K-12 school settings highly valued
- Strong assessment, IEP development, and progress monitoring skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to providing services exclusively in-person/on-site throughout the contract period
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language services to students as indicated in IEPs
- Conduct thorough assessments, develop therapy plans, and monitor progress
- Participate in eligibility, IEP, and intervention planning meetings
- Maintain clear and timely records, documentation, and compliance with district/state requirements
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support student outcomes
- Offer guidance and resources to families to reinforce communication goals at home
