School Speech Language Pathologist - Spanaway, WA

Assignment Details:
- Contract position spanning August 31, 2026 – June 15, 2027
- Weekly schedule of 35-37.5 hours (Monday-Friday)
- Onsite presence required
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct therapy services focused on communication, articulation, language, and social skills
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success in a school setting
- Maintain accurate documentation and track progress in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Provide support during IEP meetings and offer insight on best practices for student growth
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training as needed
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current SLP licensure or eligibility for licensure in Washington State
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CF applicants will be considered
- Prior experience within a school setting is highly valued
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and adaptively in educational environments
