Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Valid state license or eligibility to obtain licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Recent experience in a K-12 school setting strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create individualized education plans (IEPs) and document progress effectively
- Flexible approach and commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to a diverse caseload of students
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans in collaboration with IEP teams
- Conduct regular evaluations and communicate student progress to parents and staff
- Provide support and resources to teachers, support staff, and families
- Maintain thorough, accurate records and documentation in line with school requirements
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and trainings as needed
