Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain (SLP or SLP-CFY)
- ASHA Certification (SLP-CCC) is a plus
- Experience working in a school-based, pediatric, or teletherapy setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, educators, and families
- Ability to adapt therapy methods to diverse student populations and individualized needs
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapeutic interventions for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress and success
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Utilize both in-person and teletherapy modalities as needed to reach all students effectively
- Attend meetings, participate in IEP development, and provide recommendations and resources for students and staff
- Support and mentor SLP-CFYs as applicable
