Qualifications:
- Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with elementary and high school student populations
- Knowledge of IEP processes, speech and language evaluations, and therapy interventions
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Exceptional organizational abilities and adaptability
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, screenings, and evaluations for students referred for speech and language concerns
- Develop individualized treatment and intervention plans tailored to students’ specific needs
- Deliver direct therapy, both individual and group, across elementary and high school levels
- Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and families to support student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional insight and recommendations
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to school and legal requirements
- Provide guidance and resources to staff and parents regarding communication strategies
