Your qualifications and background:
- Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Active licensure to practice as an SLP
- Experience supporting students at the elementary and/or high school level in school settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students, staff, and families
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Daily responsibilities include:
- Providing direct and indirect therapeutic services to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Conducting speech and language assessments, interpreting results, and sharing findings with educational teams and families
- Collaborating with classroom teachers and other school-based professionals to ensure continuum of care
- Contributing to the development and review of IEPs and progress reports
- Engaging with caregivers and teachers to provide strategies for student success
- Maintaining organized, accurate documentation and compliance with all relevant regulations
