Elementary Certified School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Portland, Oregon

Qualifications & Experience:
- Hold a valid and current SLP license
- Certification appropriate for school-based SLP positions
- Experience with elementary and/or high school students preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills
- Adaptability and enthusiasm working in a school setting
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify students’ communication needs
- Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized IEPs in collaboration with teachers and families
- Provide direct speech and language therapy utilizing best practices and evidence-based interventions
- Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and prepare reports as required
- Collaborate with educators, counselors, and other specialists to support student success
- Offer training, consultation, and resources to school staff and families
- Participate in school-related meetings, professional development activities, and ongoing education
