Key qualifications and experience:
- Active licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in North Carolina or eligibility to obtain
- Experience or strong interest in working in K-12 school settings
- SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY candidates both welcomed
- Comfort with delivering services on site and/or through teletherapy platforms
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Dedication to helping children overcome communication and speech challenges
Primary responsibilities include:
- Conducting screenings, assessments, and developing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Providing targeted speech-language therapy to students individually and in small groups
- Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to support holistic student progress
- Maintaining accurate records in alignment with state and federal guidelines
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to multidisciplinary teams
