Elementary Pre-School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Richlands, NC

Key Qualifications and Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Eligibility for (or possession of) North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech and Language Pathologists and Audiologists (NCBOESLPA) license
- Expertise in childhood speech/hearing development and communication disorders
- Knowledge of Federal, State, and Local regulations governing school-based SLP services
- Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills
- Experience in recordkeeping and maintaining student documentation
- Ability to coordinate resources between school and community organizations
- SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, and pediatric SLP experience are highly valued
Your Core Responsibilities:
- Screen, assess, and diagnose students for speech, language, and hearing needs using both formal and informal tools
- Analyze diagnostic information to recommend and deliver evidence-based interventions
- Consult with teachers, parents, and relevant school personnel to support student success
- Maintain accurate program records and prepare required reports
- Monitor and adjust interventions based on student progress
- Contribute insights regarding speech, language, and hearing programs informally and formally
- Collaborate with classroom staff to ensure comprehensive support for students
- Be physically active within the school environment, meeting all outlined physical requirements
