Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active SLP license or eligibility for licensure in California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience with elementary-aged students or pediatric populations
- Familiarity with IEP process and school-based service delivery
- Strong communication skills and a passion for working with young learners
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy services to elementary students
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success in communication and academic goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate, timely documentation
- Offer consultation and training to educators regarding speech/language development
- Flexibility to extend hours as needed to accommodate after-school IEP meetings
