Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certification by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or eligibility
- Experience working with high school-aged students preferred
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
- Ability to effectively manage a diverse caseload
- Passion for supporting student growth and success
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide diagnostic evaluations and therapy services for high school students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate records of progress and document student outcomes
- Consult with teachers, parents, and administration to create supportive learning environments
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing eligibility and progress reviews
- Stay current on best practices and legal requirements in school-based speech therapy
