Certified High School Speech Language Pathologist in Encinitas, CA

Your role will primarily serve a high school caseload, giving you the chance to work with adolescents and help them overcome communication challenges that affect both academic and social success. Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience in a high school or secondary education setting is desirable
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Capable of working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities Include:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy services to students on your caseload
- Consult with teachers and support staff to integrate strategies into the classroom
- Regularly communicate progress and strategies with families
- Maintain accurate records and submit necessary documentation in a timely manner
