Ideal Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current, valid SLP licensure
- Experience working in school-based settings with students in Early Childhood, Pre-K, Elementary (K-5), Middle (6-8), and High School (9-12)
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Comfort assessing and treating a range of speech and language disorders
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Organizational skills with attention to documentation and compliance
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess speech, language, and communication concerns for students across all grades
- Deliver targeted therapy sessions, both individual and group, tailored to students’ unique needs
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families
- Contribute to IEP meetings and ongoing student progress reviews
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all student services provided
- Adapt interventions to fit the varied age groups and developmental needs represented in Early Childhood through High School populations
